Our Mission

Town Water Check is dedicated to empowering all US residents with accurate, unbiased information about their tap water quality. We believe that access to clean, safe drinking water is a fundamental right, and that everyone deserves to know what's in their water.

We're grading the water, not the water companies that handle it. They've been thrown into a very difficult situation, not of their making. Who knew until recently that PPT (parts per trillion)-level contaminants, previously thought to be negligible, could be so harmful? Nobody, until recent times. Complex hydraulic infrastructure cannot be changed overnight. However, consumers can add a relatively low-cost tap water home filtration system in the meantime. Our municipality-level reports can help you with this process.

Our mission is to bridge the information gap between complex water quality reports and everyday consumers. We translate technical data into easy-to-understand information, helping people make informed decisions about the water they drink.
